Hello Delegates and Advisors,  

Welcome to Laguna Hills High School’s 24th annual Model United Nations Conference! I speak on behalf of our entire secretariat when I say that we are so excited that today is finally here. 

 First off, I would like to thank our incredible secretariat for all of the time and effort that they have dedicated so that our conference could reach its full potential. They have done a wonderful job, and I think that their work definitely shows. Secondly, I would like to thank all of the delegates who took the time to be here today. It is our pleasure to have your school in attendance, and we hope to make this conference a memorable experience.  

Make sure to take advantage of today: talk about things that are bigger than yourself and listen with an open mind. You are all incredibly bright and talented, and as cheesy as it sounds, you are going to be the ones who change the world one day.

dignity and security." CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. They place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. The Laguna Hills MUN Conference will be supporting CARE by encouraging committees to raise money to buy animals for families in need. Depending on the amount of money raised in each committee, the delegates within the committee can choose which animals they would like to give.
