PROJECT DESCRIPTION
GovanBrown was retained as the Construction Manager by AESO for their renovation project that took place from January 2008, to the end of May 2008. the project entailed work on 4 floors and included construction of office space from a base building start to construction work being done in areas occupied by employees.
Weekly construction meetings were held and attended by GovanBrown. In attendance were the architects, project manager, client representative, representatives from the engineering and mechanical firms (when re-quired), the electrical contractor and IT resource people from AESO. These meetings allowed for good, open communication that ensured the job went smoothly.
The project schedule was determined by AESO’s furniture delivery and installation so GovanBrown worked ef-fectively around these dates to get the job done on time.
