This comes from my one day Scrum Overview course I run. In it I run the agile game Resort Brochure. The objective is to get teams going through the planning, execution and review process of using Scrum. Please forgive some of the formatting, I've had to fiddle to remove corporate templates and this screwed some of it a little. Resort Brochure Game

• In two teams, each team will create a Holiday Resort Brochure.

• We shall assign the Product Owner and Scrum Master roles for each

team.

• The Product Owner will prioritise the Product Backlog.

• We shall conduct Sprint and Release Planning

• There will be two sprints.

• Each sprint will be made up of two “days”.

• Each day will start with a Daily Scrum Stand-up lasting 3 minutes. The

Scrum Master will be responsible for updating the Progress Chart.

• Each day’s work will last another 5 minutes.

• Each sprint will end with a Review and Retrospective lasting 10 minutes

in total.

Role Assignment & Product Backlog Prioritisation

3 Minutes

• Each team needs a volunteer for the

Product Owner and a Scrum Master.

• The Product Owner needs to review

and prioritise the Product Backlog.

• Scrum Team familiarise themselves

with materials available:
