Agroforestry History at OSU

• OSU has a long history in Agroforestry Education and research,

• Joint research between the COF Silviculturists and COA Range Mangers began 1952,

• First international conference on Foothills for food and forest was hosted by OSU in 1982.

• Included in the OSU general education requirements as “Baccalaureate core” in 1986
