Alan Chao, is the name who these designers are referring to; Recently graduated from Art Center College of Design in Transportation design major.

What do I think I can offer to the industry? Besides being super practically creative? I think I am a designer who understands the language of engineering and social impact possibility. And to fill in the gap where sometime a great design, really needs to add an appealing skin, to catch the masses viewers attention; this way, they will continue reading what is offering them.

Having the mindset for concept development, brainstorming, field study, give-and-take constructive criticism among colleagues, with the skillsets of analog and digital visual communication, 3D modeling pro-grams like Autodesk Alias, Auto-cad, Solid-works, Google Sketch-Up. To physical modeling techniques from foam, clay, wood, leather, fabric, 3D Print, CNC…etc. I AM READY TO WORK!

I believe that a new design; big or small, should not waste the op-portunity to make differences in the world. That is why I always push the depth of mine design, and the believe of I am the perfect candidate for the design studios.

With shareable/ separable components; using only one driver seat, which can switch in-be-tween different car setups. One can optimize endless possibilities with minimal spendable components needed like other customizable cars. If different characteristic of the car is needed; by buying different skin/cover over

the car, it will be easily switched by few screw on and off over the key car components. When other skin is no longer in need, it is still a piece of art that one can be hang on walls of living room/man-cave.And with every car component that can be modify, one can simply order it, and switch dif-

ferent battery pack, number of electric motors (RWD/AWD) different suspension setups. All can be easily fit on one open platform. That, one race car, can be tailored to each different race condition needed.

INSTEAD OF ‘BANDING’ OUR VEHI-CLE CONSTRUCTION. WE SHOULD FOLD OUR CAR INTO SIMPLE TWO FLAT PANELS.

LESS UNIT IS NEEDED FOR CITIZENS TO TRAVEL WITHIN ITS CITY PE-RIMETER, THEN HAVE PERSONAL UNIT PARKING/ TAKING FOOTPRINT SPACES IN CITY/ WHEN IT IS NOT IN USE.

LIKE HOW MOTHER NATURE DE-SIGNED TREES. WITH LIMITED FOOTPRINT SPACE IN CITY, HAVING SOLAR FARM LAYOUT VERTICAL-LY IS MUCH MORE EFFICIENT AT FOOTPRINT USAGE. WHILE DOUBLE THE FUNCTIONALITY OF BUILDING ENVELOPE.

With our skyscraper filled with P.V. Panels, which shares with this “E” project, we are creating a vertical solar farm in our city.

That generates energy not solely from unsustainable ener-gy resources. But being somewhat self-sustainable grid.

WITH SIMPLE MECHANISM, ‘E’ CAR WOULD UNFOLD / ASSEMBLE ITSELF READY FOR USE. IDEALLY EACH STATION/ BUILDING WOULD HAVE 40+ UNITS

FLOWING AROUND THE CITY .

WITH PHONE APP. ACCESS, USER WOULD HAVE ALREADY ENTERED DESTINA-TION AND/OR PREFERRED ROUTE WITH POSSIBLE STOP-BY POINTS.
