Facility Matting Survey User Guide

The Facility Matting Survey program is designed to be easy to use and will help you organize your matting surveys. Once you enter the facility survey program you will have a choice to start a “New Facility” survey or if you have done a previous facility survey you may choose “Continue Survey”.

New Facility - When you choose “New Facility” you will be instructed to enter the following:

• Facility Name

• Facility Contact information including name, email and phone number for follow up

• Facility Address

• Surveyor Name

• Surveyor Email - This is used to send your completed survey spreadsheet by email to you when you complete the survey.

Note: You are only required to fill in the new Facility information and your information one time.

Input mats - Click here and you will start selecting mats for the facility.

• Mat Location - Type in the best description for the mat location. (Example: Outside Front Door)

• Quantity - Enter quantity for this location.

• Mat Type - Select from the drop down box the Type of mat you are recommending. (Example: Scraper mat)

• Mat Style - Because you selected “Scraper mat” in “Mat Type”, you will now select the Scraper Mat style. (Example: Super Scrape)

• Link - This will link you to a sales sheet of the mat style you chose. Features, Benefits, Sizes, Colors and full retail pricing are provided on the sales sheet.

Note: You can also view Product Literature Sheets by clicking on the “Information” button at the top right corner of the page.

• Size - Enter the size recommended.

• Mat Color - Enter the color recommended.

Next - When you have completed the above information, click on the “Next” button and you will see confirmation of your selection and a choice to “Continue” or “Finish”.

If you have more locations in the facility to survey, then click on “Continue” and you will be taken to a new Input page. Follow the above steps to complete each additional survey location.

If you choose the “Finish” button, your survey information will be e-mailed to you in a spreadsheet that can be used to complete your quote to your customer. If you use your PC or laptop, you will be able to edit the spreadsheet file and complete your quote. If you are using an iPad, you will need to download an application that allows you to edit the spreadsheet and other documents. Office 2 HD works well and only costs $6.95. If you are using your iPhone you can download Office 2 Plus at no charge.

Note: If you click on the pencil provided on the new selections, it will duplicate the information for that item from the previous survey location. In the upper left hand corner of the survey page there is a button that will take you to the confirmation page to review all survey selections.

You do not have to be connected to the internet to use the Facility survey program. However, an internet connection is required to access literature sheets or to email your final survey results. For on demand access to our Literature Sheets, Catalogs, Suggested Retail Price List, Videos and Power Points, please contact your Andersen Company Region Manager or your Andersen Company Representative and request an invitation to our Dropbox folder.
