TRANSCRIPT
“I have come to the realization that the All Stars offers a unique value proposition that is of HIGH urgency,
and one that I’ve chosen to get more involved in... I think there is a limit to the societal impact associated
with taking the top 10% of young people and making them 10% more successful in life... If there’s a way to
reach the other 90% and make them 10% more successful, the payoff will be greater...That’s where the
All Stars diverges from the mainstream approach... and it’s proven that it works...”
— Chuck Chaplin, President and Chief Financial Officer, MBIA, Inc.
ALL STARS PROJECT OF DALLAS
JOIN THE 2017 DSY SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
In the Development School for Youth (DSY), young
people experience the business world through a series
of rigorous, high-level workshops and trainings, and
learn to perform as professionals.
Graduates of the workshop series are then placed
in paid summer internships where they continue to
develop their leadership and professional skills and
connect to the world of success.
DSY is a core program of the national All Stars Project.
The All Stars Project mission is to transform the lives of
youth and poor communities using the developmental
power of performance in partnership with caring adults.

“ Through my involvement in the All Stars Development School for Youth program, I have seen first-hand that students are not only provided with internships, but are also prepared for every phase of the professional work experience. To me, the preparation is as (if not more) important as the internship itself, as it provides students with an opportunity to be successful in a professional environment. The workshops focus on resume writing, interacting with coworkers, and keys to a successful internship coupled with mock interviews and guidance from the All Stars employees. These workshops, which are held at different corporate offices throughout the metroplex, are what make DSY a huge success.”
— KIM KESLER KPMG, Audit Partner
“ We’re building bridges, socio-cultural bridges, and we all do it every day. Bridge building not only allows youth from poverty to grow beyond their current context, it helps us connect communities and these connections could not be more critical. Bridge building connects wealthy communities with poor communities and police officers with citizens. It connects different cultural communities and different language communities.”
— DAVID J. CHARD, PH.D. President, Wheelock College
“ The All Stars Project is a truly remarkable organization and has grown to six different cities across the country. The All Stars break down barriers in the community and help us understand that we all have something to give; we all need to show up, and we all need to contribute. It has been wonderful to watch the journey of the All Stars move across the country, and we are thrilled to watch it grow here in Dallas.”
