Bob Smith and Scott Armstrong always put students, teachers and parents first.

They can’t be bought and won’t be bossed by Mayor Pawlowski or anyone else.

Smith has never missed a meeting in 12 straight years on the School Board. He stood up to the Mayor when he tried to take money from our students and teachers, and delivered a zero tax increase while expanding and upgrading our educational facilities, and adding 10 full-day kindergarten positions and 20 arts positions.

Armstrong took on Harrisburg politicians in both parties and fought for increased funding and tax relief for the city. He made the tough choices necessary to balance the city’s school budget without increasing taxes, while implementing the innovative “Building 21” program and never once wavering in his support of school uniforms.
