Summary: Capacity building of health workers and systems to improve patient outcomes is a central goal of my program of research. My studies examine the complex intersections between health care workers and patient outcomes, with a special domestically focused interest in improving immigrant health outcomes. My international research in health workforce capacity building has taken place in 34 countries.
