Shopping, going for a walk or doing light housework — the SMART CARRIER helps you to do everyday tasks safely. The modern design of the SMART CARRIER always looks good.

The combination of proven carrying aids and modern carrying systems allows you to carry your child ergonomically:

The flexible width of the base (ca. 26 – 33 cm) ensures the squat-straddle position — so important in the development of the pelvis.

The ergonomic, flexible backpiece, which fits baby backs perfectly, promotes a healthy and rounded back.

The flexibly adjustable hood protects and supports your child’s head. If the hood is not needed, it can be fixed directly to the SMART CARRIER.

The SMART CARRIER is great for parents too:

The easily adjustable, padded straps and the perfect weight distribution of your baby across your hipsallow hours of carrying without back pain.

A connection piece between the shoulder straps prevents slipping and makes carrying more comfortable.

Both shoulder straps have two removable shoulder strap protectors.

There is also a small pocket on the hip belt for small everyday things.

Babies have rounded backs when they are born. For nine months, their C-shaped spine has been perfectly tailored to the space available in the womb. Now the spine has to gradually straighten out. This is a gentle process that takes a whole year and is only completed when babies can stand up on their own and take their first tentative steps.

Furthermore, babies’ legs were bent up in the cramped space in the womb. What would look like a dislocated hip on an adult is actually extremely good for the development of the hip joint socket. The hip joints of a newborn baby, who has a skeleton that mainly comprises rubbery cartilage rather than “proper” bone, now have to cope with being slowly straightened out over a twelve-month period.

So that the hip joint sockets can stabilize properly, the hip joints should be flexed as often as possible and not stretched unnaturally.

These medical facts help you to develop an understanding of how to care for your newborn baby. It’s better to carry your baby than push him around in a buggy at arm’s length. Make

sure that his back is rounded and his legs are flexed at the knee. And when your baby is lying down, you should also give him

the opportunity to round his back, instead of stretching his spine for hours in his cot.
