1. Go to the START MENU Tab.

2. Click ALL PROGRAMS.

3. Select TexTHELP PROGRAMS.

4. Click on READ and WRITE 6.

1. The TextHelp log-in will appear.

2. Leave it as a default user.

3. Click on the “OK” Button.

1. The Read and Write 6 Bar will appear.

1. LEFT Click (HOLD) with your mouse on the “Read and Write” Toolbar.

2. Drag it up to the top of the Word document or which ever program you are using.

3. Start your Document, making sure to SAVE.

1. Highlight the word that you would like to look up.

2. FLEECE

3. Click the Little Wizards hat that has the ABC next to it.

4. It will say WORD WIZARD.

1. When you click the Word Wizard Icon this window will pop up.

2. It will ask you which part of speech you are using your word as.

3. It will highlight the choices whether it be NOUN, VERB, ADJECTIVE, or an ADVERB.

4. Sometimes words will be more then one, depending on how you use it in the sentence.

5. Click NEXT once you have selected your part of speech.

6. If you selected the wrong item, click BACK and repeat instructions.

1. This screen is an example of Nouns.

2. It shows you different ways of using fleece in a sentence.

3. Once you select the one you want.

4. Click NEXT.

1. It will then give you extra choices Select which one you want (ADVANCE SEARCH)

2. Such as:

3. Opposites of “fleece”

4. Different kinds of “fleece”

5. “Fleece” is a part of these things.

6. Parts of “Fleece”

7. Words related to “Fleece”

8. Phrases which contain the text “fleece”.

9. Click NEXT. Step 8

1. Now it gives you the different synonym options of the word “Fleece”

2. If you would like to change the word, highlight the selection…

3. Click REPLACE.

4. Then click NEXT.

Step 9

1. Now it has replaced the word “Fleece with the word “Wool”.

2. You are free to follow the same directions and go back up to the DICTIONARY ICON and choose another word.

Step 10

1. After you click on the DICTIONARY ICON.

2. Make sure that the word you want to look up is in the window provided.

3. If you look to the top right of the dictionary window, you will notice that it shows you the part of speech that the word you are using is.

4. For example: Wool is a NOUN.

Step 11

1. As you can see if you click on the first sentence it gives you 3 options on how to use “wool” in the sentence.

2. If the word is what you would like, go ahead and click the word

3. Then REPLACE button.

Step 12

1. Now your document is complete.

2. Always remember to save.
