Gandhi’s Early Life

Father was “mayor” of town.

-Early education in India -Arranged marriage at 13 -Studies law in England

A Hindu concept which believes in Non Violence toward all living things

Nonviolent resistance or action is used to achieve socio-political & economic goals by protests, civil disobedience, non cooperation, and other methods, without using violence.

A person offers no resistance (nonviolent action) when the police come to arrest them.
