Our founder, Eddie, was an outdoor guide. Born and raised in Washington State, he learned to fish before he was in school, learned to hunt before he finished grade school. His passion for adventure built an iconic American brand.
Eddie’s creation of the first down jacket patented in America revolutionized cold-weather outerwear. It also began a tradition of adventure-driven innovation that the company carries on today.
