Kulin Sports Update
Kul i n Go l f Cl ub Kul i n Go l f Cl ub Kul i n Go l f Cl ub Kul i n Go l f Cl ub Last week the Golfers played the first of their qualifying round for the yearly Championships. Numbers have been
down but now as seeding is finishing up we expect the men to return- the course is looking magnificent. Ladies midweek day is attracting good numbers- next week is Hyden Open day for anyone interested- contact Cheryl or Wendy if you would like to go. This Sunday is a Presidents choice day so come along at 12 noon and see what this
all means!
Kul i n Hockey Cl ub Kul i n Hockey Cl ub Kul i n Hockey Cl ub Kul i n Hockey Cl ub Wow what a great weekend the Kulin Hockey Club had! This week we filled up a bus and travelled out to Hyden.
The day started off great with the C grade having their first win in a very long time of 4 nil. Goal scorers were Abby Nobel 2, Emma Wilson 1, and Brady Argent 1. After a moment had by Miranda where her counting skills of players
gave her a slight panic attack the B grade followed up with their first win of the season of 2-1. With the old girls scoring the goals and proving to the young ones that they still have it. With two grades having a win it put pressure
on the A grade to also have a win. The A grade girls had Yvonne stressing being 1 nil down at half time. The game was very tough but the girls fought very hard and ended up having a win of 2-1.
This week the Fine Masters introduced the Junior Pearla Award. The first recipient was awarded the pearls after
she got a bee sting, and slipped over. Congratulations Carly Savage!!! The Pearla Award winner was Simone Lockyer for missing a few goals and forgetting the rules. The Wild Wig Award winner was Taryn Eva for slipping over
more then once. This weekend we have a bye. We play again on the 8 June please note that the game will be in Corrigin NOT in Kulin as stated in the fixtures as we have swapped home games with them.
