Dr Sharma further saidthat Modi and its BJPstrongly opposed much pop-ular schemes of DrManmohan Singh such asMNREGA, Aadhaar, GSTand FDI and termed as dis-astrous and big failures ofDr Manmohan Singh's gov-ernment but after takingover as PM, Modi suddenlystarted praising theseschemes and adopted one byone and now celebrating as

his big achievements . TheGST which was delayed byModi and BJP wrong poli-tics for more than ten yearsand which was fixed at arate of 14 per cent, Modi isgoing to impose upto 28 percent and without any properpreparation and frameworkgoing is to be biggest failuresuch as demonetisation.

Elaborating on the Yatra, a reli-gious leader said that the Shrine ofShri Trisandhaya Mata is next inreverence to the Shrine of Amarnathin Srinagar. In that Shrine Ice ShivLimgam is formed naturally andhere in this Shrine water flows fromthe top of a hill near famous BrahmaPeak thrice a day, i.e. morning, noonand evening, though occasionally.

" The water flows and stops natu-rally when there is no pond or lakeon the hill top where from the watercould spill and come out ?," heexplained. On the last day of Yatra,Hawan will mark the end of Yatra,the devotees after performingDarshan of Shri Hudh Mata andoffering Puran Aahuti shall starttheir return journey. The Yatracommittee has arranged free Langarfacilities for the Yatris enroute theYatra. Administration has alsomade security and other arrange-ments for the Yatris.

STATE TIMES NEWS BHADARWAH: In a shock-ing incident, two animalsincluding a cow and a horsedied on the spot due to elec-tric shock of a Low Tension(LT) line at Kotli area nearNew Bus Stand Bhadarwahon Wednesday.

Irked over the alleged irre-sponsible and pathetic atti-tude of Power DevelopmentDepartment (PDD), peopledemanded stern actionagainst the officials for put-ting the life of humans andcattle at risk, as within 12hours a cow and a horse diedof electric shock reportedlydue to careless attitude ofPDD officials despite beinginformed by the locals abouttourists rush in the area.

According to reports, the

cow which belonged to oneBobby Khan of MohallaQilla was grazing nearAshapati Hotel in Kotli. Assoon as the cow went nearan electric pole she receivedan electric shock of an LTfeeder. After a couple ofhours a horse owned byMunna Ganai of villageSungli too received shockfrom adjoining pole. Boththe cow and horse died onspot.

People blamed PDD offi-cials for the loss anddemanded that responsibili-ty should be fixed to AEESanjay Wakhloo for his care-less attitude despite beinginformed several times.

Neeraj Singh Manhas,District President PanthersParty said, "PDD officials at

Bhadarwah seem to be leastbothered about the humanlife as a few days back my 4year-old son Swastik, had anarrow escape and was hos-pitalised for several daysafter receiving electric shockfrom the pole outside myhouse at Atalgarh."

Manhas demanded thatPDD officials should bebooked for their carelessattitude and a high levelinquiry should be initiatedat the earliest.

When contacted SHOBhadarwah, Jatinder SinghSambyal,while confirmingthe incident said that, theDept started investigation,as of now, postmortem of thedead animals is going onand we are waiting for thereport.

STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: DeputyDistrict Election Officer, SapnaKotwal on Wednesday held ameeting with all the EROs,AEROs and various nodal offi-cers of the district to discuss theimplementation of special driveto enroll the left out electorsespecially in the age group of18-21 at Conference Hall, DCComplex. During the meeting,it was informed that the specialdrive for enrolling the left outelectors would begin from July01 to July 31 2017 and thepreparatory work wouldinclude analysis of the data offormat 1 to 8 in order to findout major gaps in terms of E/Pratio of 18-19 year age groups.

Submission of form-6 atERO's office , sending of formsby post and online submissionat NVSP would be done beforeJuly 31, 2017. It was further

informed that special campswould be held on 9th July and23 July 2017.

During the meeting, theDeputy DEO asked the EROsto ensure that all the enrolmentforms are disposed off withinthe stipulated time period.

Besides the EROs andAEROs were directed to consti-tute a Complaint redressal cellat their levels. All the EROsand AEROs were also asked toorganize training for BLOs atTehsil level before July 01,2017.

In addition to this, theDeputy DEO directed them tosend proposal for the creationof new or Auxiliary Polling sta-tions in areas where theElectors have to travel morethan 2 km to cast their votesand where their numberexceeds 1200 within a week'stime.

2 shopkeepers arrestedfor selling liquor

According to a report,R S Pura Police on a specificinformation conducted a raidin village Rangpur Sidhreyand apprehended two personswho were illegally selling Jand K Excise Liquor Pouchesin Karyana Shop. Police alsorecovered 43 pouches of exciseliquor from their possession.

They arrested accused wereidentified as Sardari Lal sonof Karan Chand and KrishanLal son of Sardari Lal bothresidents of Rangpur Sidhrey.A case vide FIR- 138/17under section 48 (a) ExciseAct was registered againstthem in Police Station R SPura.

Man injured inbear attack

STATE TIMES NEWSPOONCH: A man wasinjured when he was attackedby a wild bear at Mandi onWednesday.

As per the details, MohdHissain son of Naik Mohd res-ident of Dingla Chandak wasattacked by a wild bear at GaliMaidan Sawjian, when he wasout of his seasonal house thusinjuring him. On listening tohis cries, locals raised thealarm, threw stones thus fasci-nating to escape. He wasreferred to hospital where hegot 70 stitches on his head andabdomen. Locals of the areasaid Wild Life Department isresponsible of this incident asthere are repeated incidentstalking place in area anddepartment has failed to act.
