1 Disconnect the negative batteryterminal to prevent anaccidental short circuit.

2 Using a small flat blade screwdrivergently pry out on the top of the a/cvent assembly (including clock) andremove. (Figure A).

3 Remove (2) Phillips screws from thetop of the radio trim panel andunclip and remove panel.(Figure B).

4 Remove (4) Phillips screws from theradio to remove.

2003-04 NISSAN PATHFINDER (LE Only)

Wiring and Re-connection Assembly1 Locate the factory wiring harness in

the dash. Metra recommends usingthe proper mating adapter andmaking the connections as shown.(Isolate and individually tape off theends of any unused wires to preventelectrical short circuit. See Figure A)

2 Re-connect the negative batteryterminal and test the unit for properoperation.

3 Reassemble in reverse order ofdisassembly.

1 Slide the DIN cage into the RadioHousing and secure by bending themetal locking tabs down.(Figure A.)

2 Slide the aftermarket head unit intothe cage and secure.

DIN Head Unit Provision

1 Mount the ISO Brackets to the headunit with the screws supplied withthe unit. (Figure A.)

2 Slide the head unit into the radioopening until the side clips engage.(Figure B.)

3 Snap the Trimplate into the RadioHousing.
