THE CHALLENGE:

With business costs continually rising and to support the

company’s plans for growth and provide security for its

employees and customers, Ocee Design requested BCR

Associates to provide a cost review of its energy and general

business expenditure.

THE SOLUTION:

We worked closely with the client and carried out a ‘health

check’ on energy, telecoms and business supplies. We

realised sizeable savings in both time and money on the

existing electricity contract and a review of business supplies

expenditure highlighted a sizeable £17,500 annual spend,

three separate cost centres, and complex and time-consuming

administration.

THE RESULTS:

Our specialist energy knowledge managed to save Ocee Design

£3,295 (31%) on its electricity bill and £2,012 (26%) on gas.

We also advised the client on service levels and terms and

conditionsofferedbythevarioussuppliers,givingOceeDesign

completeconfidencethatthecontractitwassigningmetits

needs.

A saving of 28% on business supplies was also realised and we

assisted the client in setting up an online purchasing system to

manage multiple cost centres, thereby cutting processing time

withinthefinancefunction.

We continued to manage all energy contracts on the client’s

behalf and review and assist in other areas of essential business

spendtofurtherdrivedowncostsandimproveefficiency.
