4.28.2016 NORTHEAST FELLOWSHIP NEWSLETTERNetworking Churches - Equipping Leaders - Fostering Church Health
Dear friends, While attending a 125th anniversary for an NF church, we saw a slide show highlighting various people who contributed to the success of the church. Interestingly, not everyone pictured was a pastor or even deacon. It highlighted the fact that in the local church, everyone has an important function. I Cor. 12 explains that when people work together, God can do great things and He alone gets the glory. We have been overwhelmed recently by the generosity of various men and women who have given time, effort, funds and expertise to help the NF go forward in our efforts. Some volunteered at conferences, some laid flooring, some taught workshops, some gave money, but all made a difference. Since we do not have a large staff, our ministry is blessed by all of you who partner with us to serve the Lord and assist us in our mission of spreading the gospel through healthy local churches. Thank you for your partnership with us. Your Co-Laborers, Jim and Jeannie

1. Praise for our 2016 Winter/Spring events and conferences: the Men’s Adventure, Youth Seminars and the Money and Ministry Conference were again well received.
2. Pray for our churches in summer ministries – VBS, camping, community outreach, regular services, etc.
3. Praise & Prayer regarding the completion of our facility renovation project - the training and hospitality area at the 13 Charles Storch Rd (in Big Flats) Parsonage/Ministry Center property. All funding has come in (Thank you!!) and we are close to being done - with only the furnishings and final flooring yet to be installed!
4. Pray for the Vogels in travel/ministry in the churches. 5. Pray for our revitalization works in Belfast and Unadilla
Forks. 6. Pray for our pastors - for wisdom and encouragement in
the important ministry that God has given to them. Please pray for their families as well.
7. Pray for our many churches without pastors as they seek God’s man for their leadership needs.

Church REVITALIZATION Ini1a1ves We conBnue to develop a two level approach to helping our churches move toward greater health and growth. • No Church LeG Behind Ini1a1ve – For churches that are viable
but may need help moving beyond a plateaued or declining ministry. The focus is on three workshops for pastors and leaders on: UpdaBng ministry wisely, strategic planning made simple, outreach acBon plan ideas. About 20 churches have been involved in this program across the state.
• New Life Ini1a1ve – For churches that are seriously declining and face the possibility of closure unless they get help. Our strategy brings together a revitalizaBon pastor, a mentoring pastor and church, NF partnering churches -‐ to help facilitate new life & vitality in such a ministry. Last year we launched two sites and are open to help others. Contact us!
Please join us in prayer for God’s blessing and provision – and contact Jim for more info on how your church could help others as a mentoring or partnering church. We could use your help!!!!
