The renowned designer Frans de la Haye designed the Auronde bed model, among others, for Auping. De la Haye feels that the bed represents the sense of being ‘home’ more than any other item of furniture. He views the bed as a sanctuary: the only place where we can experience complete bliss and security.

practical benefi ts: the higher headboard supports the back and helps to keep pillows in place .

Due to the modular construction of the Auronde bed models your Auronde has a full range of adjustment and expansion options. Auronde beds can be ordered in just about any desired fi nish and in various colours (including high-gloss). In addition, you can choose your ideal bed height, as the Auronde is available in three different heights.

40 years AurondeThe history of the Auronde actually began in 1967, when Auping introduced the first adjustable mesh base on the market. In 1973 this base was fitted with its own wooden frame. And with that, a success story was born. In February 2008, Auping reached a real milestone with the production of the millionth Auronde.
