Bamboo is grown in almost every part of the State
At present 46 species of bamboo are known tooccur in the State.

3. Bambusa mokokchungeana
4. Chimonobambusa nagalandeana
5. Cephalostachyum longwanum
About 5% of the total Bamboo growing stock of thecountry is estimated to be available in the State.
