09 - 152Silicon Tethered Alkenyl Transfer and Type I Ene Reactions. —A range of vinyl silanes are prepared and their application in ene cyclizationreactions is investigated. The investigations show that ene cyclization of vinylsilane precursors is not a viable process, but desilylative alkenyl transfer isthe preferred reaction mode.
