“On Saturday 13th August my sister and I went to Cameron Park Go karts Go track. At the track there was the mini EV prize competition for primary students and EV competition for the high school students (which was on the next day). The mini EV competition had solar power cars while the EV competition had electric bikes. We were the only ones there from our school. We signed in for the races and pur our car in the sun but it wouldn’t go, so we changed the wires around and it went. Even better it went forwards. At 10.00am the scutineering and practice started. After practice it was time to race. In the sprint we came 4th and in the pursuit we participated. Overall we both had fun!: Cooper “The 13th of August Cooper and I went to the electric vehicle (EV) competition. We solved many, many problems. We made the Finals and came 4th. NBN was there too. We had heaps of fun and encourage you to do it next year. Keira
Thanking you, Leoni Butler (Principal)

you this week to our grandmothers who gave up their time to work at our canteen Sue, Kathryn and Sue. Please remind your children to order their lunches before school. Lately we have had a few students turning up late with their orders. At times it is too late to cook what the child would like for lunch. We are always after volunteers. Please ring Kay on 0432275276 or come to the canteen and say, ‘Hi.’ Don't forget we are running a great Competition this term, where you can win $40 in Kmart giftcards. The list of items to buy is on the canteen noticeboard. The more times you enter the more chances you have of winning! Good luck! Also we have lots of specials on our noticeboard. We are now offering a yummy vegetarian nachos as well as a home made nachos. Check the canteen blackboard for specials. A big thank you to Steve Ward for putting new shelves in our canteen.
