As we enter another Easter season, Grace Episcopal Church is embarking on its40th annual Lenten Luncheon Program. This has been a wonderful opportunityfor many different people and churches to share a meal and fellowship duringthe Easter season. The money raised at the luncheon has gone to communityoutreach programs such as Arron McNeil House, Sanctuary House, and GraceChurch Kindergarten and many others in our community. The cost of the meal
is $8.00 per person.These luncheons take place following a 12 PM service on every Friday duringthe observance of Lent. Please see below for dates, hosts, and speakers. We

Hopkinsville, KY. Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., Hopkinsville Alumnae Chapter, the Mayor’s Youth Council, will
host the Delta Youth Summit, February 19th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hopkinsville Christian County
Boys and Girls Club.
The Delta Youth Summit will provide a needed forum for local youth. The summit is designed to engage
young people in activities that will help them: problem solve, build alliances, resolve conflict and to
foster and improve communication between youth and adults.
All High school, Middle school, 5th and 6th grade students from CCPS, UHA, HCA, Saints Peter and Paul
Catholic School, and homeschool are invited to attend this youth empowering event.
All community groups and leaders, educators, city and county officials, and public servants law and fire
will be invited to support our area youth at the summit.
Tara Toliver, Delta Alumnae and one of the forum developers explained, “We know that when our
young people are engaged, equipped and empowered to make positive choices it becomes a Win-Win
for our schools and communities”.
The moderator for this event is Reverend Darvin A. Adams. The panelist will include Reverend Joe T.
Leavell and the Mayor’s Youth Council.
