Douwe Egberts, the UK's third most popular coffee brand, operates in a highly competitive market behind bigger spending competitors Nescafe and Kenco. We were originally briefed for a single experiential project, but five years on and we're now working across multiple channels. By our client's own admission, the world of instant coffee is never going to be the most exciting of places. Most brands enjoy an endless conversation with their customers, with little meaningful consumer engagement. Favourite brand topics include 'luxurious coffee moments', 'delicious coffee aromas', and, of course, 'great tasting coffee'. For Douwe Egberts, we like to try and talk about something other than coffee.

UK experiential hot sampling tour served 18,050 samples, across 10 sites, over 10 days, driving 1 million+ OTS.
