TRANSCRIPT

Hosting an event for 220 active children requires a very tight time schedule. The children were divided into 3 separate groups to ensure each one participated in all of the activities.

THE SCHEDULE WORKED…..!!!!!!!!

All of our young guest received an animal hat --- perfect for the occasion.

Story Telling

Isn’t just story telling any more…..there’s dancing, singing, games,

and of course a story.

Jill Morse, Children's Librarian from Carnegie Library captured the

attention of so many little ones.

Shaggy Mountain Petting Zoo

Nature Walk

Ben Petry, Niko Mallas and JoAnn Welsh guided the children on a wonderful, informational nature walk.

Lunch Time The 5 food groups were served

Vegetables

FRUIT

Grains

Protein Dairy

Doreen Eisaman and Mark Hornfeck

helped children scoop dirt into

starter containers and planted their choice of a flower

or vegetable.

Craft time in the greenhouse with Dawn Mallas and

Athena Batis,
