We are about to go on a field trip! Now pay close attention because the bus will be here soon…

While we wait for the bus, print out a picture of a farm animal to color that you would like to see on the farm.

Visit baby animals so you can learn proper names for farm animals and their babies.

Next, you get to pick which farm you would like to visit and research. Click on the Dairy Farm or Wheat/Crop Farm to learn all about how produce and wheat/crops are made.

Let’s build your own farm!

Pick a type of farm that you and your partner will create. Name your farm. Make a farm by creating your own poem, book, or short

story of the farm or by creating a poster, banner, etc as a visual.

Include the structure of your farm (barn, rancher, buildings, etc), equipment, workers, animals, and crops.

Write a report on the activity that goes on at your farm.

Feel free to use this project starter worksheet to help you get started with your ideas!
