DisplaytheABCmouse.cnbookHam with Jam,withthePauseBetweenPagesfeaturechecked.Tellstudentsthatyouaregoingtocontinuetosharethisstorywiththem.Askthemtotellyouwhattheyrememberaboutthestory,encouragingthemtousetheEnglishwordsPam, Sam, jam and ham.

Talkaboutwhatyourememberaboutthestory.

Step1(3min)

Playforstudentsthetitleandpages1through9ofHam with Jam,pausingaftereachpagetohavestudentsrepeattheEnglishwordstogether.Note:Ifyouwishtorepeatapage,youcanusethecirculararrowiconthatappearsnearthetoprighthandcornerofthebookafterapagehasplayed.

Carefullylistentoandrepeatthewordsinthebook.
