Quick findings
On official facebook page & twitter account Mohamed Morsy has almost triple
fans/followers
Shafik is majorly talked about because of debates between supporters seeing him the only able to drive Egypt further & againsters who see him part of previous regiem.
Second team is the majority online
Most of online activities, especially twitter infleuncers are against both candidates &
some of them started to promote boycotting the 2nd round
Talks supporting Morsy were mostly because people were against Ahmed Shafik
More than 70% of the photos shared over facebook were comics about the elections, the
candidates and Egypt’s overall political situation
Since June 8th, there was clear drop in online talks about presidential candidates and
more talks about Euro 2012
