Aims of the action – for pupils:Allow secondary school pupils to spend between
3 and 10 months in a host school and a host family abroad.
Offer European learning experiences to pupils, to
develop their understanding of the diversity of
European cultures and languages and to help
them acquire competences necessary for their
personal development.

Aims of the action- for schools:
Offer valuable international pedagogic experience
to teachers involved in the organisation and
implementation of the mobility.
Help build up sustainable cooperation between
the participating schools.
Encourage schools to recognise the studies
undertaken at the partner school abroad.

Pupil mobilityBasic principles – for pupils: Aged at least 14, enrolled full-time in an eligible
school (Pupils are selected by the sending school)
Stay in host families selected by the host schools
Prepare for the stay abroad Prepare and sign the learning agreement
together with the sending and the host school
