BATMAN vs SUPERMAN

People asked me why I chose this movie. Why don’t I choose another movie to improve my creativity ? I said because I love it.

▪ So I try to draw something in my sketch book and I pumped into this idea.

At that time, I can’t do anything with photoshop. So I tried to draw my sketches and build a simpliest moodboard that I can.

And then I tried to learn how to do photoshop and I finally can draw what I thought from beginning.

Then my second one is the funniest part. Because in my first momment, I intended to do a lightbox formed by papercut.

▪ But finally, when I play around with this, I love it so much so I decide to go with it.

You gave me an idea and I tried it immediately.

And when I added everything in my pds, I suddenly came up with an idea of Batmobile. I thought why I don’t use it and insert the Director’s name in it?

After put everything in, I want it to look vintage, retro ( I don’t know how to call it) so I added some textures. And this is my final work.

But after that, I want it to look more funny and random so I cut all the words and try to put it anywhere I want. Like this.

▪ Actually I did my first poster in purpose because I want people to watch a battle between 2 of the most iconic heroes in the comic world. So I did use the shadow and just only show their Symbol in color. That’s my purpose.

▪ But in my second one, I just want it to look colorful and funny, just like myself. So I use the cut-out technic to do it. I want to show this to the children. Because I don’t want them to see it so intensely, I want them to enjoy it. And I think using colors is the best way.
