Go to your Admin Section in Google Analytics

Then Click on Goals

It should Reveal to you your Goals List

For now you will only need to click on one +Goal to set-up a new Goal

This Setting Should Pop out Next

Let’s say you’re tracking leads and you want to track how many people go to your ‘Thank you’ Page

Choose URL Destination

This area should appear

Put in your Goal Name here (You can name something like ‘Leads Generated’)

Put in the URL of your ‘Thank you’ Page here

Then click on Save

And there you have it!

HOW DO I KNOW IF IT WORKS?

In your Reporting Section, click on your Goals Overview

You can pick which Goal you would like to check on here

The Value of those Goals (Note: Some ‘thank-you’ pages means you’ve sold something)

Your Goal Conversion Rate (Percentage of the times your Goal was hit vs the number of Visitors)

Your Goal Abandonment Rate (People who abandon hitting the Goal you’ve set while on the Funnel)
