DESCRIPTION

These slides are created "JUST 4 FUN" co-authored by me, Tami Honesty and my 12-year old son, Noah. It is the result of a conversation my son started, wishing Facebook had a video-chat feature....from there we started brainstorming! Fun, thinking exercise with my kid, lol! I actually think some of this stuff exists but not in popular, full functioning form. Some of these ideas have legs.

These slides are about ideas, just simple things, iWish technology did to make our lives much Happier!

12 Years Old Now!

iWish my Mom’s iPad could connect with my iPad, then

connect to my Dad’s iPad

to create one big screen!

iWish For a USB-Free World!

No USB, Auto-sync

all my stuff, devises and

services with one touch!

‘hunt and gather’ content with

these devices

iWish to seamlessly share that

gathered content, at-home with these

devices!

iWish to do that without using any of these!

iWish my mobile phone served

as a language translator

iWish I could travel to foreign countries with the ability to use my phone as a mobile translator, simply placing it on

speaker – as I talk it translates.

Je suis désolé, je ne parle pas anglais

Je suis désolé, je ne parle pas anglais

Poor soul, has no

earthly idea what

he’s saying.

Translation Made Easy

My phone serving as a “mobile translator”

and allowing for multiple language dialogue.

She Speaks English

He Hears Spanish

My phone serving as a “mobile translator”

and allowing for multiple language dialogue.

For example, ordering McDonald’s in Russia:

iWish to use my speaker phone to order Big Mac, Fries and Rootbeer, then mobile translates English

into spoken Russian (vice–versa) serving as a personal translator.

For example, ordering McDonald’s in Russia:

What if I ate at a Makhachkala,

Dagestan Restaurant ?

iWish, I could scan the menu through mobile photo, select my language and receive a written translation back.

What if I eat at a Makhachkala,

Dagestan Restaurant?

iWish Foursquare, wouldn’t allow for

locations to be duplicated, but would

alert users to new badge opportunities

creating a better sense of game-play and

competition.

Now that Gmail has “Priority

Inbox” iWish the “Star” graphic

served a new function, like safe-

mode for “Never Delete” mail.

iWish for an answer to the “Texting and Driving” phenomenon, like an in-car

device that syncs with driver’s mobile, if it detects text messages being sent while

driving it sends an alert to parent.

iWish $20 dollars could be transferred from one person (mom) to another (me) using our mobile phones. Slick way to get $20 bucks Fast!

iWish for a web, In Memoriam, to honor all those who have passed on, a social network to preserve their profiles, writings, pictures, history – celebrate their lives. Perhaps offering a “forever hosting plot” to

endlessly preserve their online presence.

iWish Facebook and Twitter were more like LinkedIn, allowing us to export friend’s

information, easily converting it into a .CSV file.

iWish Facebook had Skype-like

features, or worked like ooVoo!

Video Chat and Conferencing

would be the bomb, on

Facebook!

iWish Google had an app for their new “Voice Calls from Gmail” feature, that would allow users to make the same free calls cellphone to cellphone, or mobile to computer, and even like Skype, computer to computer.

iWish, Pandora streamed in Mom’s car. Again, without plugging something into

dash - Oh, great sound quality too!

iWish Everyone in the world had access to computers, internet and mobile technology

through recycled devices.

Last Wish!

ONEteeny-tiny

Last Wish!

Lessening the Digital Divide and

Repurposing e-Waste.

iWish, I could use this

for a school project later this year!

iWish they would get-off computer and take me for a walk!

@TamiHonestyiWish we were connected!
