Business Meeting

Welcome

Long and FosterWoodbridge/

Prince William Parkway

March 9, 2010

Top questions in the last week…

How does having a new broker affect me and my current business?

• Not much!

• I expect things to continue functioning normally with zero disruption.

• From your perspective, it’s business as usual!

Most of the management change will be handled behind the scenes and whentime permits.

If you have an immediate problem, please come see me and I will be there tohelp you. If I am out of the office, drop me an email and in most instances I cancan answer your question within minutes. That’s my job!

If you have a concern, complaint, recommendation or anything that is not timesensitive drop me an email, get on my calendar or just let me know you are inthe building and I will do my best to get with you as quickly as possible. That’smy job!

Will there be many changes in the office?

Maybe and maybe not…

• If it’s not broken, I’m not going to fix it.

• If it’s not broken, I’m not going to try to fix it.

• If it can be improved, I’ll do my best to improve it.

• If it can be improved, I’ll do my best to improve it.

KEEP IN MIND:

•I will have a different way of doing some things but in theend we all have the same goal: To successfully list and sell real estate!

REMEMBER: Change can be good…

What is your overall plan for the office?

MISSION STATEMENT:

To have a full office of agents with thecommon goal and reputation of being the most positive, professional and productive group in our market place.

BUSINESS MEETINGS:

Top Five reasons not to attend:

1. They start too early.

2. They go on and on and on and on.

3. Too many complaints that do not relate to me.

4. Too much negativity in the room.

5. I have more important things to do.

BUSINESS MEETING COMMITMENT:

Meetings will occur on the first Tuesday of eachmonth after the 7th.

THE RULES OF THE MEETINGS ARE SIMPLE:

Meetings will start on time – 10:00am and will last one hour and 15 minutes maximum.

Meetings will be to inform, share successes, recognize accomplishments and to allow our partners to updateyou on current events in the industry.

Sales meetings:

•Will not be the time to bring up personal complaints.

•Will not be a negative experience.

•Will not be the time to bring up personal issues that are not related to the professional side of our business.

Having said that…

On your chair each month there will be a form with twoquestions:

What did you love most about the office this past month?

And

What is your number one complaint about the office this past month?

These forms should be completed and turned in at the end ofeach meeting. Notice there is a not a spot for your name. Putting yourname on the form is optional.

You have one shot at each question so you need to figure out the one answer that fits or is most important to you. Any form that hasmore than one answer to each question will not be addressed.

Most likely if it is on your mind, it is also on someone else’s mind. Thus, I will address all questions/comments and concerns in an email that will be sent out to everyone in the office.

Except under special circumstances…business meetings will be held once per month.

All other events during the month will be educational, networking or social.

COMMUNICATION: Only in very rare circumstances will I send a broadcast voice mail. Updates, important information and general communication will be via email or video messages to email.
