Educational Technology in a Nutshell
Before I enrolled in this subject, I only have little knowledge about educational technology. I really don’t know that I’m already applying it since when I learned using technology. Learning new things is a bit hard for me but I realized that I should ready myself for the future changes in terms of teaching.
Learning Through EDTC 1 and EDTC 2
Teachers should be at the frontline, up-to-date with access to software they can use with their students. As educators of our nation’s future leaders, we should encourage and be able to foster the development of our students’ use of technology.
The internet is not designed to be merely a social networking venue, but provides bountiful information, and can offer a portal into other cultures.
Learning Through EDTC 1 and EDTC 2
As a future teacher we must guide and teach our student’s how to use technology properly. Just like in making good slide presentation, we must know it before we teach it on our students. My learning from EDTC 1 and EDTC2 can help me to cope up with my future students and the changes in the next generation.
Learning Through EDTC 1 and EDTC 2
Technology helps students in :
Providing multimedia to address all learning styles
Providing interactive student centered activities
Providing extra support and help resources
The Student after EDTC
Learn more in less time when they receive computer-based instruction.
Likes their classes more and develop more positive attitudes when their classes include computer-based instruction.
Student’s attitudes toward learning and their own self-concept improved consistently.
The Student after EDTC
Educational Technology can empower teachers and learners, promote change and foster the development of twenty-first century skills. Educational Technology has motivated the students to get more involved in learning activities through which they become more active and more interested in learning so we need EDTC in our curriculum.
