elements of smart pedagogy and apply it in a lesson plan.

WHAT IS SMART PEDAGOGY?

Smart pedagogy is the teaching and learning implemented in smart schools all over the country.

CHARACTERISTICS OF SMART PEDAGOGY Appropriate mix of learning strategies Encouragement of learning activities to

promote creativity and experimentation Students-centred learning activities Allows individual differences in learning

styles

BENEFITS OF SMART PEDAGOGY Learning becomes more interesting,

motivating, stimulating, and meaningful The mind, body and soul of the child is

involved in the learning process. Basic skills for the future and greater

challenges

MEDIATIVE STRATEGIES Discussion/Facilitation Direct assisting of students in learning

how to apply knowledge or to solve problems.

appropriate situations and use their different intelligences

INQUIRY/OUTSIDE CONTEXT LEARNING STRATEGIES Activity-based learning, hands-on

sessions, seminars, workshops, and do-it-yourself programme

METACOGNITIVE STRATEGIES Students can learn through thinking

about the learning process and how they did and how they can improve.

Stimulation technique is used.
