thThe Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal is happy to host the 6 edition of its Annual
Interschool Technology Event- The Sanskaar Techfest 6.O.
The Sanskaar Techfest is “a collision of creativity, innovation, technology,
learning, and collaboration”. The theme of this year's fest is Education 6.O with a
focus on technology-based tools and resources to drive education in non-
traditional ways.
The event will be an opportunity for students to learn, compete and gain exposure with
a tinge of enjoyment in 9 online events.
We are excited to receive entries from all Tech-savvy students and hope to make it a
unique opportunity for each one of them.

Instructions for on-site events
1. The Sanskaar Techfest 6.0 offers an opportunity to participate in 9 online events.
2. A participant may participate in more than one event.
3. All the participants of online events will receive an e-certificate.
4. All the events are designed in such a way that all participants should work
individually or collaborate online. We would advise participants not to go out
and visit their teammates home for any work related to the event.
5. To handhold the participants the host school will conduct event wise workshops
on with all the registered participants online on nd rd2 & 3 November 2020

ꞏ 1. The event is open for students of classes only. III to XII
ꞏ 2. The Schools are required to register online latest by .th28 October 2020

Instructions for on-site events
Criteria for Overall Winner of Techfest 6.O:
1. Schools to participate in minimum 7 events.
2. The points will be calculated by picking the score of best 6 results. Points will be
st nd awarded as : 10 points for 1 Position, 7 points for 2 Position and
rd 5 points for 3 Position.
3. A special certificate will be awarded to the school with maximum participation.
4. The schools must ensure that the copyright free content is used for all the events
or else references should be cited. The Sanskaar Valley School shall not be
responsible for any misuse of copyright/trademarks or any such issue.

DIGITAL TREASURE HUNT
Instructions:
Event Type : Individual Event

thEvent Date : 8 November 2020
Event Time : 3:00 to 4:30 pm
1. This will be a live online event.
2. The participants will be invited to Microsoft Teams meeting and be briefed
about the locations of the clues and rules of the hunt. The date, time and
link of the meeting will be shared with the school after the registration.
3. The Treasure Hunt will consist of 4-5 clues, each one leading to the next clue.
4. The location of the clues can be on different websites/blogs, in videos,
encrypted text or tricky algorithms.
5. The individual who will find the treasure and share its details in the submission
form first with us will be the winner. In case, none of the participants is able to
search the treasure in the assigned duration (1 hour 30 mins), the winners will
be decided based on the number of clues, he/she has cracked.

6. The clues to find the treasure will be related to the IT terminology and general
knowledge, therefore it is recommended that participants must have sound
knowledge of different subjects.
*Organizers may change the rules (if required). However, the updated rules
will be shared in the event briefing online meeting with registered

1. STEP 1 : CONCEIVE AN IDEA
Think of a problem/area where Artificial Intelligence can be leveraged to
provide a solution.
2. STEP 2 : PROPOSE A SOLUTION
a. The solution could be a thought of as an APP/website/hardware/networking
device/training that uses any suitable technology.
b. Some of the technologies that could be deployed are Cloud, Office 365,
OneNote, PowerApps, Android Studio etc.
c. Teams are expected to present their solution with the help of a prototype
which may be partially or fully working or may be just showing the
proposed interface.

3. STEP 3: MAKE A POWERPOINT/SWAY PRESENTATION
Your presentation must include the following:
a. Problem Statement.
b. Name of the proposed solution.
c. What impact will this solution make? Who would be the stakeholders
for this solution?

On the day of event:
i. We will be providing each team with a link to join an online team meeting.
ii. Teams will be asked to make the online presentation to the judges. Judges
may take viva and ask questions related to the submission made by the team.
ꞏ The presentation must be shared with the organizers a day prior to the event.
The link of the drive folder to upload presentation will be shared after the
registration. The self-featured video must be embedded in presentation but is
not to be played during the presentation.
Each team will be given 4 minutes to explain their project to the Jury.
1. The work should be original and should not be copied from any source.
Any form of plagiarism will not be entertained.
2. Assessments will be made by the external reviewers. Following is an outline
of the assessment criteria:
Uniqueness of idea and addressing a problem that matters to India 15%
Robustness of the approach in solving the problem 25%
Implementation strategy 25%
Commercial viability and scalability of the solution 25%
Presentation 10%
Judgement Criteria:

e. What kind of budget requirement may be there for implementation of
