1. WHAT IS A SOCIAL MEDIA?

Social media is just a name for how the internet looks nowadays. What makes today’s internet different from the internet of the past is the way people use it, and particularly the rise of social media tools & channels.

Online social networks first became popular with the rise of Friendster and MySpace in the early 2000s. Social networking use has developed hugely in recent times with the growth of sites like Facebook. In most English-speaking countries Facebook is now the social network of choice.

Be creative on content, of course you don’t want to bored people with the same old selling content about your company/product.

Posting content at the right time and place is important. This is to get maximum exposures and engagement.

HOW OFTEN YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA?

Well obviously there is no exact ideal number, but there is a range. Typically if you post fewer then 2 posts a week, you will not engage your audience enough for them to maintain a social connection with you, and you will lose engagement. To be “seen”, 2-3 post a day is good enough.
