Awards JudgeBill Lemke has been capturing natural landscapes through photography for over 30 years, hoping to pass along his appreciation of the natural world so others will be inspired to sustain and preserve that beauty for future generations. His work is photographed using a large-format camera (4x5 or 8x10), with hand-processed film and limited-edition, signed and dated silver gelatin prints. He has been exhibiting and selling his work through art fairs since the late 1970s, and has earned numerous Best of Photography and other merit awards over the decades.

The Dick Schneider Best of Show AwardThis is the highest award, named in memory of Dick Schneider. As UWSP Professor of Ceramics 1962-1987, he designed the tile mural on the College of Natural Resources and mentored a number of nationally acclaimed artists. He exhibited his work in the Festival for 32 years.
