New Mexico Highlands University is accepting application for aStudent Recruiter. Under general supervision and reporting to theDirector of Student Recruitment & Undergraduate Admissions, thenew student recruiter will assist in the planning, organization andimplementation of a wide variety of student recruitment activities.Responsibilities include outreach recruitment efforts, such asadvising prospective students, maintaining contact with high schoolcounselors, working with two year colleges and other administratorsand prospective students and their parents, distribution of studentrecruitment materials and assistance in the development of newstudent recruitment programs. These efforts will take place both inNew Mexico and nationally. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree in any field. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prior experience working in higher education; Knowledge ofNew Mexico Highlands University and its programs; Knowledgeof post-secondary financial aid and admission procedures; Priorexperience working as a student employee in an academic studentsupport unit; Experience working independently and with a highlevel of accountability; Prior experience delivering presentations toaudiences.
