TASK 7:EDITING THE FRONT

COVER

CROPPING THE COVER IMAGE • I cropped this

image to centre the person in the image.

• I did this by selecting the crop tool and selected the part of the image I wanted to have for my magazine cover.

ADDING A MAST HEAD • I added a mast head to the top of the image.

• I did this by selecting the Text box tool and selected the part of the image ,where I wanted to have my mast head i called it ‘Priestley Times’.

• Front size-150 • Text font-Rosewood

ADDING A COVER LINE

•I added a cover line to the side of the image.•I did this by selecting the Text box tool and selected the part of the image ,where I wanted to have my cover line. I called it ‘Life at priestly’.•Front size-150 •Text font-Rosewood standard •The font colour is black

ADDING A PUFF•I added a puff to the image.•I did this by inserting the puff to the image and moving it into the middle on the right hand side then.

ADDING THE PRICE •I added a price the image.•I did this by selecting the Text box tool and selected the part of the image ,where I wanted to have price which is below the masthead.• Front size-450 • Text font-Rosewood

ADDING A BANNER •I added a banner to the image.•I did this by inserting the banner to the image and moving it along.

ADDING TEXT •I added text to the image.•I did this by inserting a text box on top of the banner saying “3.50 wicked café voucher.

ADDING A PUFF•I added text to the image.•I did this by inserting a text box on top of the banner saying “3.50 wicked voucher.

SPELL CHECK For my front cover image I corrected all the spelling mistakes and mistypes.
