• One day, a famous chef named Tokuri in the city of Chanto saw a boy eating ice cream. Suddenly, he thought, why don’t I try frying ice cream and see what happens. When he perfected the recipe, he decided to serve it in his restaurant.

Soon enough, the word spread and people from all over started to recognize this delight. Finally, the president decided to try this dessert everyone was talking about. The president himself also approved this dessert. He then asked what the ingredients were.

• He soon found out that all you needed was green tea and ice cream blended together, with some kind of fryable batter. The Island had plenty of the ingredients so the majority decided, this would be the national dish of Star Island. This dish is still served in independanse day and is also found in Tokuri’s restaurant in Tokiido Inn.
