Area and Perimeter similarities
Perimeter and area are components of measurement. They both work together to find the total measurement of a figure by using formulas.
Area and perimeter differences
Perimeter you use addition and with area you use multiplication. Area finds how many units are in the inside of a figure and perimeter finds the length of the outer figure.
Conclusion of area and perimeter
When you solve the equation for either area or perimeter the conclusion is the answer you came up with.
