• Replacing ships that are more than twenty years old on three-fourths of the company’s services is itself an important environmental benefit.

• Does not discharge untreated sewage, refuse or food waste, and has entered into a voluntary agreement with the World Wildlife Fund.

• Has concluded an agreement with the European Environmental Foundation Bellona.

• Cooperates with the Norwegian maritime industry to achieve the vision of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association of zero discharge of environmentally harmful substances to air and to water.
