Animo Participants
To promote health, educational and life activities in a forum where young men and their mentors can share their knowledge, needs and ambitions for mutual empowerment.
ANIMO CONFERENCE MISSION STATEMENT
THE PARTICIPANTS Latino young men, ages 12-17 Fathers, uncles, teachers and mentors
who accompany the youth. A special Fathers’ session is held while
the young men attend their own sessions. The focus is on issues such as decreasing domestic violence, manhood and their expression of self as a Latino man.
Volunteer professional Latino men who come to assist and support the youth throughout the day.
