Venecia / Veniceby

Juan Camilo

Venice is a city in north Italy.

You get to Venice from the mainland by the Liberty Bridge.

Inside the city there isn’t traffic.

The public transportation is done by boats called “vaporettos”.

Napoleón Bonaparte said of this place was “the most beautiful room of Europe”.

This place is the center of Venice.

Piazza San Marco

The Piazza San Marco is the lowest place in Venice and when the water rises in flooded things first. The water runs down the drain into the Grand Canal, which is ideal when it rains, but when the tide rises, the canal water rises to the square drains.

Doge’s palace is one of the 11 museums run by Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia.

The Clock Tower is a building on the north side of the Piazza San Marco, this building features

a two-story entry, with the large clock face above, topped by a single-storey tower with a representation of a lion of St. Mark, while two dark bronze figures intended as giants but are known as the "Moors" are standing at the top

the most popular festival is the Carnival of Venice. To him came travelers and

aristocrats from across Europe, looking for fun and pleasure.

A curiosity of this place is that pigeons are not going as we approach them, they give off and many are made by the human body to give them food.
