Your course will be spread across semesters.
The first 3 years of a 5 year course will focus on BA/BCom/BSc subjects, depending upon what you choose.

BSC LLB, FIRST YEAR
General and Law subjects are studied by students of all 5 year courses.
For a BCom student special subjects would be Accounting, Banking. Similarly a BA student will study Political Science
and International Relations.
YOUR SPECIAL LAW BSC/BCOMM/BA DEGREE WILL CONTINUE FOR 3 YEARS. AND YOUR LAW SUBJECTS
WILL INCLUDE-
Criminal Constitutional Contract
Taxation Jurisprudence IP
IP means Intellectual Property and under Jurisprudence you will be taught how law develops and how it came into being. In the 4th year you will be asked to opt for a specialization, depending upon your area of interest.
Moving on. The 3 year law course will focus completely on law related
subjects. You are already a graduate when you take up this course so you
will not be haunted by Science/ Commerce or Arts subjects.
3 YEAR LAW COURSE, 1ST SEMESTER
• This subject will be an introduction to Indian Law.
Indian Legal System
• This one is technical and extensive as it deals with the Indian Contract Act.
Law Of Contracts
• Criminal law relates to crime. You will want to be thorough with this, incase you decide to represent the accused.
Criminal Law 1
• This one deals with family related issues, quite self explanatory. Marriages, Divorces.
Family Law 1
• What happens when something you do causes hurt to someone else-but is not a criminal wrong. Basically you study civil wrongs.
Law Of Torts
Law Of Evidence- A bloody knife, fingerprints on a glass? Rules that define what can or cannot be considered as evidence.
Constitutional Law- You study judgments and how constitutional law has been developed.
Gender Justice- This deals with crime, criminal law in relation to gender.
3 YEAR LAW COURSE, 2ND 3RD AND 4TH SEMESTERS
Consumer Protection Act- Study the act that protects consumers.
Income Tax Act-Study the act that includes the levy, collection and recovery of income tax.
Transfer Of Property Act- Learn the nuances of the transfer of property between individuals.

Criminology – Study of criminal behaviour.
Administrative law – This law governs the government’s activities.
Public International Law – This law concerns a nation and its conduct.
Labour Law – Employers vs workers.
The Company’s Act – This act regulates the functioning of a company.
