Blooming Buds Bethania English School is a co-educational institution, managed by the Bethany Asram Corporate Educational Agency. Bethany Asram is a religious community of the Malankara Orthodox Church. The school functions as per the 10+ 2 pattern of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, at Vellithiruthy, Marathamcode.

$ No books other than the school text books (like news papers and periodicals) should be bought to the school.

$ Participation of the student in all co-curricular activities is compulsory.

$ Any loss or damage to the school property shall be made good by the parent/guardian of the student

$ Students are advised not to wear gold ornaments or any kind of religious adornments to the school, and not to bring valuable articles to the school. A fine will be charged for the violation of this rule. The school is not responsible for any loss

$ No student is allowed to go out of the school campus during the working hours.

$ The school reserves the right to add, delete or modify the rules and regulations whenever needed.

$ All the students must attend the school in the prescribed complete uniform, any addition or deletion will not be permitted.

$ All the students should reach the school by 9.15 am. Students reaching the school late will have to report to Principal/Vice- Principal.

OUr rULES & rEGULATIONS

$ All home assignments will have to be completed and submitted on time.

$ Students are not allowed to use any two wheelers except bicycles.

$ Students upto std IV should use only pencils for writing.

$ In case of sickness for more than five days, a Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner should be enclosed with the leave application.

$ Parents and visitors are not allowed to disturb the students during the school working hours.

$ Toys, stickers, cards etc will be confiscated. Adequate play material is provided by the school in the appropriate periods allotted.

$ Cellphone, Tab, camera, iPod, Pen drive, CD and other such items brought to school will be confiscated and will not be returned. A fine will be charged for violation of this rule.

$ Presentation of gifts to the teaching/non-teaching staff is not allowed.

$ Any kind of celebration in the - class / campus /transport – is not allowed.

A NOTE TO pArENTSThe parents should always keep good relations with the school. They should ensure that their wards are regular in scholastic and non-scholastic activities. Suggestion for betterment are always welcome.

OUr ScHOOL UNIfOrM All uniforms must be loose - fitting and conform to the appropriate pattern and length. The regular uniform is for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A special uniform is prescribed for Wednesday.

ADMISSION prOcEDUrEParents seeking admission for their wards should obtain a registration form and prospectus from the school office. All registration forms should reach the school on or before the date given to them.

Students who require admission are to appear for a personal interview. Children of 3½ years and above will be admitted to LKG.

Admission of the students to the school would mean that the students, parents/ guardians will abide by the rules and regulations of the school.

pLEASE NOTE THE fOLLOwING INSTrUcTIONS:-1. Boys should keep their hair short. Fancy haircuts, beards and whiskers are strictly prohibited.2. Black sandals with straps are permitted only during monsoon season.3. The school uniform is obligatory on all school days and at official school functions unless otherwise instructed.4. It is the duty of the parents to see that pupils come to school neatly dressed in the prescribed uniform.5. Students should clip their nails regularly and avoid using nail polish.6. Jewellery and gold ornaments are not permitted. Girls may wear a pair of simple ear-studs only. Girls should wear

two plaits tied with black bands. Those with short hair should wear two pony tails. No student should colour or dye their hair.

7. Students of LKG to standard IV only, are permitted to put on colour dress on their birthdays. No gifts except cards are to be exchanged in school and the birthday child may be greeted. Parents are requested to avoid sending toffies with wrappers on birthdays. Students have an option to donate a book with his/her name to the school library on this occasion.

ScHOOL TrANSpOrTATIONSchool buses are made available in different routes in order to cater to the students from Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram Districts.
