Anne Fadiman: “Collecting Nature” Presented by Fairfield University’s Bellarmine Museum of Art in conjunction with its current exhibition James Prosek: Un-Natural History Anne Fadiman–essayist, reporter and Francis Writer in Residence at Yale–will read from “Collecting Nature,” an essay from At Large and At Small in which she recalls her childhood nature museum and ponders why we collect natural specimens. Her reading will be followed by a conversation with artist James Prosek, together with Fairfield University professors Dr. Brian Walker (Biology) and Dr. Scott Lacy (Anthropology).
