� To maintain and prepare all returns/reports as per guideline of Govt. of India.

� To put all the cases to the authorities well in time for taking decision for the implementation of the programme.

6. Steno-Typist � To carry out the type work and other dictation work with regard to various administration / technical / statistical and other misc matters assigned by the Assistant Director Malaria-cum-State Surveillance Officer (IDSP), UT-Chandigarh & AMO .

7. Multi Purpose Workers � The supervise the field work in the assigned area by the field staff placed under his control.

� To ensure complete coverage of all mosquito/fly breeding places in such a way that no mosquito genic situation / fly breeding place is left unattended to.

� To maintain the record of the work done daily along with the consumption of various insecticides/pesticides in the field.

� To implement the guidelines of Dte-NVBDCP, GOI, DHS- Chandigarh and the instructions issued to them from time to time by ADM & AMO.

� All other miscellaneous jobs assigned by the Administration from time to time.

8. Lab Technicians � To collect stain and examine the blood smears in the malaria clinic..

� To administer, presumptive & radical treatment to the fever cases as well as the malaria positive cases..

� To maintain relevant record/register as per guidelines of GOI

� To carry out anti malaria survey for collection of blood smears in the field as and when required.

9. Insect Collectors � To carry out the entomological work in the field for collection of larvae and adult.

� To identify and preserves the material collected during morning & evening hours as per programme chalked out by the deptt.

� To carry out fixed & random surveys of various vectors and other mosquitoes as established on each area.

� To identify the material (larvas & adult density mosquitoes) on the same day of collection.

� To maintain proper record of larval & adult density on the prescribed performas of Dte-NVBDCP.

� To arrange exhibitions on the life cycle of mosquito for educating the masses about the prevention and control of mosquitoes.

� To carry out all misc.activities for prevention and control of all vector borne diseases with regard to entomological surveys.

Boatman-cum- Mechanic To repair abd maintain the various spraying fogging and dusting equipments to keep the record of all the and the details about the various parts replaced by him to keep the equipments ready before the start of IRS space sprays operation and fogging operations to keep the boat of the department ready for carrying out entomological survey in the lak area of Chandigarh.

77. Post control Operators To carry out all post control measures including control of Mosquities files cockroaches and the insect pest infestations in Chandigarh to oprate all the spraying fogging and dusting equipments in the field for prevention and control of vector/ water borne diseases.
