2020 Graduate Blessing Sunday, May 17

We invite you to join us on Facebook at

10:30 am as we do a live celebration for

our graduating seniors. Our 2020

graduating Seniors will receive a

blessing and their tie blanket “live” with

their families at the LCDR parking lot.

This will take place in lieu of “Coffee &

Conversation,” which resume next week.

To register—

1) Visit our website: lcdr-sd.org

2) Choose the “Simply Giving” at the top of the page.

3) Click “Sign In/Sign Up” in the corner of the box.

4) Click on “Create your GivePlus account.”

5) Once you have created an account and are logged in, click on the three bars in the upper left corner of the box and then select “Payment Methods” and then “Add New.” From here you can add your bank information.

6) Next, click on the three bars in the top left hand corner and then selecting “Give Now.” This will allow you to choose the amount and frequency of your giving.

2020 American Legion Post 65

Memorial Day Activities

The George A. Fitzgerald American Legion Post 65 in Dell Rapids has altered its traditional Memorial Day Activities scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Post 65 has announced the following schedule for Memorial Day:

• Memorial Day Ceremonies at the outlying cemeteries, the parade, and the brat feed are all cancelled.

• The American Legion Post 65 Firing Squad will only fire at Veterans Memorial Park in Dell Rapids @ 10:00 am Monday, May 25, 2020.

• For social distancing purposes, all attendees are asked to remain in their vehicle or alongside it.

Legion Post 65 cordially welcomes all citizens in the local area to attend and appreciates everyone’s cooperation in this event.

O God, you have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the

ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is

leading us and your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We would love to shower these Seniors with cards/words of encouragement

congratulating them! All cards can be mailed to LCDR and we will pass them

along to the Seniors. Tune in to our Facebook live on Sunday, May 17 at

10:30 am as we offer our 2020 graduating seniors a blessing and their tie
